Yom Kippur and Unassigned Day - NO SCHOOL
Breakfast in the Classroom
Starting this Tuesday, Breakfast in the Classroom is officially back in the classroom. Teachers will pick up the grade K-1 students from the pavilion and grade 2-5 students from the lower yard area at 8:20 AM and head off to the classrooms. Parents, please make sure to exit the campus through the main entrance as soon as students are picked up by teachers.

Crazy Hat Day and Shoutouts!
It's our first Spirit Day Shoutout day of the year. And this Friday we are recognizing our special students that demonstrate this month's pillar of character - RESPECT! Wear your crazy hats to celebrate!
Community Closet Opens
Our Community Closet opens this Friday morning and continues through next week every day after drop off. After that, it is by appointment. Community Closet is our school store full of gently used clothes, toys and housewares for all ages. And it's completely FREE! You find it in the back of the auditorium and get shopping every day next week.
Saturday, September 30th
Gardner In The Garden Day!
9 AM - 12 PM
Join us for our first Community Garden Day this Saturday from 9 to 12. Help us plant, weed, water, compost and more as we get ready for our new garden program, The Garden School Foundation. This is a free event for every member of the family. Bring your hats and water bottles for a day in the sunshine, helping us plant the seeds to make our garden grow even bigger and better!
Middle School and Margaritas Event
7-9 PM
There are three spots left for the Middle School and Margaritas Party Book event, hosted by Gardner mom, Melissa Brides! She's walking parents through an overview of the LAUSD middle school process, including E-choices, application procedures, and useful tips and tricks she learned along the way. Click here to find out more and get your tickets for this fun and informational event. As always, all proceeds benefit our music, PE, art and gardening programs!
REMINDERS
EVERY FRIDAY is a Gardner Gear Day! Show your Gardner spirit by sporting one of our colorful Gardner shirts or hats! Parents, teachers and students are all encouraged to wear them! You can purchase them again this Wednesday morning, September 27th, in front of the glass doors on Hawthorn. After that, we'll be selling them on the first Wednesday of every month - October 4th, November 1st and December 6th. You can also always contact Maria Tomas, our spirit wear chair, and purchase directly from her.

Desayuno en el aula
A partir de este martes, Desayuno en el Aula vuelve oficialmente a las aulas. Los maestros recogerán a los estudiantes de grados K-1 del pabellón y del grado 2-5 estudiantes del área del patio inferior a las 8:20 a. m. y se dirigen a los salones de clases. Padres, asegúrese de salir del campus por la entrada principal tan pronto como los maestros recojan a los estudiantes.

Se abre el armario comunitario
Nuestro armario comunitario abre este viernes por la mañana y continúa hasta la próxima semana todos los días después de la entrega. Después es con cita previa. Community Closet es nuestra tienda escolar llena de ropa, juguetes y artículos para el hogar poco usados para todas las edades. ¡Y es completamente GRATIS! Lo encontrarás en la parte trasera del auditorio y podrás comprar todos los días de la próxima semana.

Día del jardinero en el jardín

Únase a nosotros para nuestro primer Día de Jardín Comunitario este sábado de 9 a 12. Ayúdenos a plantar, desyerbar, regar, hacer abono y más mientras nos preparamos para nuestro nuevo programa de jardín, The Garden School Foundation. Este es un evento gratuito para todos los miembros de la familia. ¡Traiga sus sombreros y botellas de agua para pasar un día bajo el sol, ayudándonos a plantar las semillas para que nuestro jardín crezca aún más y mejor!
Evento de Secundaria y Margaritas

RECORDATORIOS
¡CADA VIERNES es el Día del Gardner Gear! ¡Muestre su espíritu Gardner luciendo una de nuestras coloridas camisas o gorras Gardner! ¡Se anima a los padres, profesores y estudiantes a usarlos! Родители, попросим вас покинуть школное помещениечерез главние дверы школы после того как учитель вашего ребёнка забрал учеников.

День сумасшедших шляп и привет!
Это наш первый день в году, посвященный Дню духа. И в эту пятницу мы награждаем наших особенных учеников, которые демонстрируют столп характера этого месяца — УВАЖЕНИЕ! Наденьте свои сумасшедшие шляпы, чтобы отпраздновать!
Открытие общественного туалета
Наш общественный шкаф открывается в эту пятницу утром и будет действовать до следующей недели каждый день после высадки. После этого все по предварительной записи. Community Closet — это наш школьный магазин, в котором полно бережно используемой одежды, игрушек и предметов домашнего обихода для всех возрастов. И это совершенно БЕСПЛАТНО! Вы найдете его в задней части зала и будете ходить за покупками каждый день на следующей неделе.

Присоединяйтесь к нашему первому Дню общественного сада в эту субботу с 9 до 12. Помогите нам сажать, пропалывать, поливать, компостировать и многое другое, пока мы готовимся к нашей новой садовой программе The Garden School Foundation. КАЖДУЮ ПЯТНИЦУ — День оборудования Gardner! Продемонстрируйте свой дух Гарднера, надев одну из наших красочных рубашек или шляп Gardner! Родителям, учителям и учащимся рекомендуется носить их! Вы можете купить их снова в эту среду утром, 27 сентября, перед стеклянными дверями на Хоторн. После этого мы будем продавать их в первую среду каждого месяца — 4 октября, 1 ноября и 6 декабря. Вы также всегда можете связаться с Марией Томас, нашим креслом для духов, и сделать покупку напрямую у нее.
