We are very excited to welcome our students back to campus for the 2021-2022 school year!
Please be advised of the following updates and reminders:
· Please check your email daily for information and updates from LAUSD and Gardner Street School.
· Please listen to all voicemail messages from LAUSD and Gardner Street School.
· Please have your child tested for COVID-19 at one of the stationary sites or at Gardner Street School. (Baseline tests do not need to be administered within 7 days of the start of school).
· At this time, LAUSD COVID-19 Testing at Gardner Street is only for students.
· Please call the school office at (323) 876-4710 as soon as possible if your child will not be returning to Gardner Street School.

TK/Kinder and New Student Campus Tour—Saturday--- August 14, 2021—9:00 a.m.—10:00 a.m.

Students and 2 adults may come to school to become familiar with the campus before Monday, August 16th. To help ensure student and staff safety, parents and guardians will not be permitted on campus during arrival and dismissal.
First Day of Instruction and minimum day—Monday—August 16, 2021—8:15 a.m.—12:50 p.m.
Please drop off and pick up students on time, daily. PLEASE NOTE EARLY PICK UP TIME.
Second Day of Instruction—Tuesday—August 17, 2021—8:15 a.m.—1:43 p.m.
Every Tuesday students will be dismissed at 1:43 p.m. so that teachers may engage in Professional Development.
Device Distribution—Monday—Friday—August 23—September 2, 20021—8:30 a.m.—9:30 a.m.
Device distribution will occur at the double doors on Hawthorn Ave. The schedule is forthcoming.
