Gardner Street School graciously invites all businesses in the West Hollywood and greater Hollywood area to support their local elementary school and become a Gardner Street Community Sponsor. As a Title I school, we rely on our sponsors to help fund our PE, music, art, yoga and edible gardening programs - enrichment classes that are no longer funded by LAUSD. 

Gardner Street is committed to furthering students’ and teachers’ passion for learning in a safe, caring and inspiring student-centered environment. Through research-based practices such as the workshop approach, we promote higher order thinking, social interaction, mindfulness, creativity, and problem solving. Gardner also offers an inclusive and diverse education, with 30 percent of students coming from non-English speaking homes and 60 percent qualifying for free or reduced lunch. And despite some economic and linguistic challenges, the school maintains a rating of 8 out of 10 on GreatSchools.org. However, LAUSD is not able to provide funding for the arts and movement programs that are essential elements of a balanced curriculum. And that’s where you can help. 

Your tax-deductible donation to Friends of Gardner will help create relationships in the community, as well as support these enrichment programs and ensure Gardner Street’s ongoing success. You can get involved through direct donations, in-kind donations and event sponsorship, and we are happy to offer exposure via website placement, newsletter inclusion and event signage.
